Steve:

Hello, returning Happy's and new listeners. This is Steve Bennet- Martin, and this

Stephen:

is Stephen Martin-Bennet, and welcome to a Lifetime of Happiness,

Steve:

the podcast where we take you on our journey through some of the movies, shows, and other bits of how culture that are helping to keep us happy. Well, hopefully it bring a smile to your face along the way.

Stephen:

And this January we're discussing some of our favorite movies of 2022. And this week it is my favorite movie of 2022. Everything everywhere, all at

Steve:

once. But before we jump into the multiverse, my love, what's been making you happy?

Stephen:

So there was a movie that we wanted to see last November, but somehow we missed out on seeing it, and it was called the.

Steve:

Yes. The movie that I had previews going on up for like up to like, it felt like a year

Stephen:

before it's release exactly. Where they're all going to a secluded island for a special chef's tasting at a dinner that's like for 10 people only type of thing. Yeah. And I have to give the previews credit because, It wasn't like, I thought, well, the previews give everything away. Absolutely did not. Yeah. It was a lot more involved and intricate than they let on. It was definitely a weird movie, but it was a very enjoyable movie. Yeah. And I didn't know where it was going. But the ending was, satisfying in a way, so I recommend it. It is now currently on H B O Max.

Steve:

Yes. And. in something that is more exactly what it appears based off of the trailer. I loved Megan.

Stephen:

Oh, me too. Megan was so good. Yes, we

Steve:

saw it in theaters and it's an Android killer robot doll and like that is exactly what it is. It's, you know what it is going into it. You get to see it happening and slowly evolving and it was just a good ride like the entire time. It shows that like you don't have to have twists and turns and unexpected. things coming out in the third act, you can just have a really good, well-built like suspense film that turns horror at the

Stephen:

end. Yeah. Like it was exactly what it build itself as. Just like violent night was just what it build itself as. And there is definitely a place for those type of movies. And it was fun, it was enjoyable, it was. Bloom House. Ha has another hit on their hands. Yes,

Steve:

I would see it again now. Something else that we did see again Yes. Is this week's movie, everything Everywhere, all At Once. Why did you choose this as your f absolute favorite movie of the year? My Love.

Stephen:

It, there's so many reasons. So it crosses a lot of genres and themes. is it a family drama? Yep. Is are there comedic aspects? Yep. Is it a sci-fi multiverse movie? Definitely Is. Is it also a really great action movie also? Yes. Like the writing, the visuals, the acting, everything works on so many levels. Michelle, y'all who is always excellent is at the top of her game. The movie was so emotionally moving and thought provoking the first time, and it still holds up a year later with us watching it critically. I think it's truly just a special film.

Steve:

Yes. And for those, not in the No. It is an American absurdist comedy film, drama film, written in, directed by Daniels, Daniel Quan, Daniel Shart, SNI Schneider Scher Scheiner, who produced it with Anthony and Jer Russo,

Stephen:

who are known for the Marvel Stein. The Avengers in game type of things.

Steve:

Yeah. Yes. And absurdist comedy might sound rude, but it's actually accurate by Definit. Absurdist Fiction focuses on the experiences of characters and situations where they cannot find any inherent purpose in life, most often represented by ultimately, meaningless actions and events like taxes, that call into question the certainty of existential concepts such as truth or

Stephen:

value. Yeah, it was released last year, March 25th, 2022, with a budget of 14.3 million and ended up with a box office of 100, 3.8 million being the little movie that could Exactly,

Steve:

and I was surprised at how well the special effects worked out and how. Expensive. This movie looks Oh wow. For 14.3 million. You know, obviously millions of dollars like that is nothing to sneeze up for an average person. But talking about these movies, budgets week after week, I feel like there are movies that have 3, 3, 4 times the budget that don't have half the special effects or beauty that this film has. 100%. I found out part of the reason why is because all the special effects for the film was done by nine people, including the two directors, with the majority of the shots being done by a core group of five. None of the effects team went to school for effects. They were all friends who taught themselves with tutorials they found online for free,

Stephen:

which is just amazing. And this is a film that was done through the studio A 24, and it's the highest grossing a 24 film yet. You may know them for films like Hereditary. Oh,

Steve:

okay. Cool. Yeah. And this stars, as you mentioned, Michelle Ya also has Stephanie Sue. Kwan, Jenny Slate, Harry Shum Jr. James Hong and Jamie Lee, Curtis

Stephen:

Daniels began writing the screenplay back in 2016 for Jackie Chan, but later reworked the lead role and offered it to

Steve:

Michelle, which is great. I mean, she's been a legend. Best known for Crouching Tiger Hit and Dragon, crazy Rich Asians, and so much else.

Stephen:

Now Keho Quan did most of his own stunts during the Fanny pack fight, which we're gonna get to though Andy Lee stood in for him in a few cases and face swapping was used to put Quan's face on Lee's body. He was actually a famous child actor in the eighties, known for. Playing data on the Goonies and Short round in the Temple of Doom, one of the Indiana Jones films.

Steve:

Yes. And of course you have a major crush on Jamie Lee Curtis.

Stephen:

I do. She's my Lori Strode forever in a day. But this was a totally. Different Jamie Lee than we've ever seen.

Steve:

Yes. Now before the trailer was released, the official IMDB synopsis read a woman tries to do her taxes It's not wrong. It's not

Stephen:

wrong, but oh, that would've been

Steve:

bad. How would you summarize the movie to someone new?

Stephen:

A family dealing with a variety of issues finds their way back to each other and moves towards healing through lessons learned in the multi.

Steve:

All right, put it on. Imdb you in. Okay, Now, we wouldn't be able to talk about everything everywhere, all at once if we didn't start at part one, which is everything. Everything. Yes.

Stephen:

So Evelyn Wang is a Chinese American woman who runs a struggling laundromat with her husband, Wayman Wang, which there's a joke there. Yes, there is. The business is being audited by the irs, which has caused rising tensions on the eve of the Chinese New Year. Furthermore, her father go Gong has just arrived from China and is going to be living with him as she sorts the receipts on the dining room table before their IRS appointment. She does not notice layman's attempts to serve her divorce papers. Evelyn also doesn't like him putting googly eyes on everything or how he tries to see the bright side of any situation cuz she doesn't believe that he could have survived without. Evelyn used to dream of being a singer. And then in one of the security cameras from downstairs in the laundromat, we see Waymond glitch is the best way to put it. Yeah. And then he starts doing parkour around the

Steve:

laundromat. Mm-hmm. Yes. And then her daughter, joy and her girlfriend Becky, arrive as Joy is meant to help reach any language differences. At the IRS meeting, Evelyn is still struggling to accept her daughter's lesbianism and is reluctant to introduce Becky to go. After he comes down the stairs into the laundromat while she's dealing with a customer, Evelyn introduces Becky as Joy's good friend, causing them to storm out.

Stephen:

Yes. Now you found an interesting fact about the language in the movie. Yeah.

Steve:

The language was very intentional and important to this story. Especially speaking English, you might not realize, but Evelyn speaks to her father Intones. But she speaks to Wayman Mandarin, showing cultural differences in their upbringing. And then the mother daughter language is relationship is also language shaped. Evelyn speaks to joy in Mandarin in English. While joy answers back in English and bad Chinese, no one is able to find the words to express their ideas clearly to each other. Keeping everyone a little bit divided, even the upcoming language barrier with the IRS makes everything harder. Yeah.

Stephen:

And it's really brilliant the way that it's all done. Especially even when you see Evelyn and Wayman talking to each other, how they will slip in and out of Mandarin and English to each other. Mm-hmm. and without like second thoughts and. It just me. Everything feels very alive in the movie when they're doing that.

Steve:

Yeah. And because this is all built around her, the existential crisis that she's feeling, have you ever been to, to a place like that emotionally?

Stephen:

I think that we all have at some point. I know that, you know, before I got on, anti-anxiety meds, I would get to places where, you know, what does it all mean? What, what does it all matter type of thing? Or you know, even this year when I was heading down further my spiritual path and my current job was blocking everything, and then you start questioning like, can certain things in your life take away. Happiness when things are going so well in all the other areas of your life and you have to stop and look at, you know, is it time to make big changes so that you can be the better version of yourself?

Steve:

Yeah. I would say the closest that I got to it was right before I moved down to Florida and I just felt like I was in this like downward spiral, almost like a toilet flushing, like in New York and. It just, I was glad that to break that cycle and it helped and it led me to you. Exactly, Now also something I was able to relate to watching this was having your parents not wanting you to come out to other family or other people. I know when I was. in my teens and coming out, my parents found out, they were like, so against me telling my grandmother, they were like, don't tell Grammy. Don't tell Grammy she can't take it. She can't take it. She can't take it. Mm-hmm. when I finally did come out to her, she goes, honey, I know I've met you before So it's always, I think, a bigger deal to the children than it is the adults.

Stephen:

Yeah. And like whenever I had my first boyfriend out of college, and we were going to a family function over Thanksgiving. You know, like our family gets together and make apple butter. And so we used to do it at my aunt and uncle's house and I had been allowed to invite my boyfriend at the time to come do that with us, but I was not to tell anyone that we were dating. And funny enough, I was forwarding him an email. With details on how to get there and things, but I guess I had hit reply and then put his email in the address line and my aunts was still there. And I had written it to him, but she also still got it with me saying, you know, we're supposed to pretend that we're not together. Oh. And so I ended up outing us without knowing. And I got in trouble for nobody makes that kind of mistake. It had to be intentional. And I'm like, I don't even know how I did it. So there you

Steve:

go. Yeah. Now, back in the IRS elevator, layman's personality changes when he is briefly taken over by a version of himself from the alpha. Upon becoming connected to a headset, Evelyn sees an overview of an important moments in her life. Her father's disappointment at having a daughter meeting Wayman her family, renouncing her for marrying him, buying the laundromat and having joy. Alpha Wayman explains that every decision creates a new parallel universe and that they may be in danger. Then he gives her a list of instructions on the back of the divorce papers and tells her not to talk about it with other wayman because he won't. Now, how would you feel if we were doing something randomly one day and all of a sudden my personality shifted 180 degrees and I told you about the Alpha

universe?

Stephen:

If it was you, I would believe you. And unless it was April 1st, unless it was April 1st, but excuse me, it being me, I probably wouldn't even remember. It's April. There you go. And, but yeah, if it was coming from you, I would totally believe it. Especially with all of our years of different video games, comic books and movie things like. I have no problem believing in the multiverse. Yes. What

Steve:

about you? Same. No. Sitting down with IRS Inspector Deirdre

Stephen:

Bore, which I love that Deirdre bore, I mean, it's the same type of joke they made with Wayman Wang. Yes. Instead of Raymond, it's Waymond. Yeah. And so Deirdre Bo, I love it.

Steve:

Yes. The Langs are scolded about their unorganized stack of receipts and tax deducted items being called business expenses, but from other of Evelyn's passions like singing, writing, cooking, all profession she imagined herself having in accordance with Alpha Weiman's instructions, Evelyn swaps her shoes to the opposite. imagines herself in the janitor closet and then clicks the green button. On her headset, she is pulled backwards into the closet where Alpha Wayman awaits. To further explain that she is an important woman in his universe that discovered verse jumping, and she may have a greater good to fight against the greatest evil that has taken over his. every rejection, every disappointment has led to you towards this moment. Don't let anything distract you from

Stephen:

it. They've done a really good job so far of taking out their concepts and doing it in a way that you're like, okay, I can follow along with this. Mm-hmm. So, and this is a Jane newly Curtis that we've never seen before. She's frumpy. She's not glamorous like we've seen her because even when she was Lori Strode, you can see the beauty mm-hmm. in her face. Like even the 2018 Halloween Lori Strode. Yeah. You can see it. Not And I also love that in real life, Jamie Lee felt so strongly about this movie and the cast and. That she tweeted and messaged on Facebook and Instagram daily about it, and she provided a huge word of mouth campaign, which is how I ended up finding about it, looking up the trailer and then showing it to you. Well,

Steve:

good for her. Thank you. Jamie Lee. Yes. Now before he finishes his explanation, evil Evils, your drip pulls him through the door and breaks his. Back in the real world. Deirdre agrees to allow them another chance to turn in their receipts again by 6:00 PM that evening. She shows them her employer awards for best agent, and they're all shaped like butt plugs, which is just so funny on a receipt. She keeps making a dark black circle. I'm showing them how important it is. This

Stephen:

is foreshadowing. Yes. Now go Gong says that Evelyn is always running away afraid. But Evelyn says that he's wrong about her. She sees Deirdre stalking towards them and unable to deter, differentiate between the different universes yet and fearing another attack. Evelyn punches our Deirdre in the face. Furthermore, she realizes that her instructions were on the theri, written on the back of divorce papers that Wayman had already filled out. She's hurt saying that they had made a secret. At that moment, alpha Wayman returns to fight off the security guards that had been. Because of punching Dear Jbo Bera, and he uses his funny pack to take them out and then rushes them to the break room, and he explains that they're being tasted by, chased by Joe Bu Taake, which Evelyn will never be able to pronounce correctly. Never. And Joe Bu Taake is a woman whose mind was overloaded and splintered after being pushed too hard by Alpha Evelyn. and now Jo Bakke can first jump and manipulate matter at will because has become a being of pure chaos and evil. And in the other universe, Deirdre is an acolyte

Steve:

for her. Yes. Now, with the concept of the verses, if you could verse jump, what wild universe would you wanna.

Stephen:

Probably something boring, like where, you know where we see one, where she's an actress. I would love to see if there was one where I ever did become a soap star. Type of thing. Or if I could find one where people could fly mm-hmm. that would be a fun

Steve:

one. That would be a fun one. I would also love to try and like visit a world where like being gay or queer is the normal thing and being straight is the weird

Stephen:

thing. Oh. Like there's a movie. Yeah. That's like that. Yeah. And I would love to

Steve:

see what that world would be just like, if that, if that's how it worked and like we reproduce some more scientif. And, you know, way and just how much, how much different the world could be. Yeah. And

Stephen:

hopefully better. Hopefully. Now there's some great comedic moments like Wayman saying Alpha Wayman saying, I'm not the wayman who's divorcing you. I'm the wayman who is saving your life. Now you can either lie here on the ground or you can come with me and live up to your ultimate potential. To which Evelyn says, I want to lie here. Yes,

Steve:

There are some great comedic moments in the movie now. Alpha Wayman explains that first jumpers can access skills, memories, and bodies of other parallel universe counterparts by performing a statistically and probable action like chewing Chapstick that slingshots them towards that universe. Upon being attacked in a stairwell by evil Ddra Evelyn is able to tap into a universe in which she did not run off with wayman and instead became a kung fu master in a movie. She does this by convincingly telling dire she loves. I love you. Yes, She is able to fight off evil Ddra, but Jo Bapak approaches and Alpha Wayman is knocked out. It's revealed that Jo Boo is actually Alpha Joy and she kills all the security guards in very creative and funny ways that were sent to arrest. Evelyn Jo Bus shows, Evelyn the Everything bagel, a black hole that was created. Can potentially destroy the U multiverse.

Stephen:

Yeah. Something that can destroy not just one universe, but the entire multiverse is pretty

Steve:

big. Yes. Now I love the improbable actions cuz they're so unique and well improbable. Improbable, yeah. Have you ever felt one of those urges to do something completely random and crazy in a situation? It wouldn't be

Stephen:

app. So I'm going to tell on myself, and this is not great, but we were walking down High Street in Morgantown. It was Monika, Ronnie, and Jay, and I. and there was this old lady with a cane walking towards us and all this fence, and I felt this overwhelming urge to run at her extremely fast, screaming, I'm gonna knock you down And I, I don't know why I find it funny because knocking down old people is not

Steve:

funny. It's not funny. No.

Stephen:

It like, I, I mean it was this overwhelming urge I had and you know, I work with seniors so it's not something I find funny, but they're. It was that improbable desire of something and I was like, now looking back, I was like, I wonder what multiverse I would've opened by doing

Steve:

that. I don't know. I don't know whether there would've been a good one. Babe.

Stephen:

what about you? Have you ever felt one of those improbable.

Steve:

Things typically that like yours, they involve like causing unnecessary harm to someone just randomly and never maliciously. It's always like, whenever I imagine doing it, it's very cartoony. Like if I'm just like randomly having a normal conversation with someone and I'll get the urge to slap them across the face, like they're never actually hurt. Yeah. It, like I said, it's very cartoony. My imagination, the impulses that I get, or just sometimes it'll be to say something completely random and inappropriate, but then, 50% of that time, I say it anyway,

Stephen:

Now the action stains went from standard action with Alpha Wayman to ridiculously absurd. When Alpha Joy or Jo Bo Taake comes in, where she turned a man into confetti or he, she turned another one into Carmen Miranda, and then used him as a human shield. Mm-hmm.

Steve:

the imagination that went into the dildo finding, I think is absolutely brilliant and I would love to recreate it with you sometimes

Stephen:

Yeah, cuz this guard was coming at her with night sticks and Joe Butciak turned them into dildos and she stole them and then she was smacking him around with dildos. Yes.

Steve:

Speaking of long, floppy things, we also get a peak of a universe where people have hotdogs instead of fingers. Which the internet loved and I did not. I

Stephen:

did not either. It grossed me out.

Steve:

The grossest thing is that when your fingers get excited, ketchup and mustard

Stephen:

come out. Like we saw so earlier in the movie. The. Evelyn was watching this wait, romance dance, well, romance movie that looked to be like one of the Indian movies. And so in the hotdog finger world, it's the same one. But now the people won't have hotdog fingers. And as they're getting excited dancing, the ketchup and mustard come out and it's just gross. I'm sorry. Yes. Ugh. And so we also find out later if you do a lot of verse. You can open a crack and unless those cracks are fixed, the other universes can like leak back through and take control of you. But over time, if you don't do it, you can end up fracturing and die.

Steve:

Well, that's bad. Yeah. Now, in the world where she's a movie star, we see a lot of clips of Evelyn on the red carpet and these are all videos of Michelle on the red carpet over the years,

Stephen:

which I think is pretty. ingenious for them to

Steve:

use? Yes. And what do you think of the concept of an everything bagel? Not just to mention that it's like a funny idea that like you call it an everything bagel, but it doesn't have everything on it. Right. And

Stephen:

this one actually does have everything like, you know, tears of a blind man and a dog testicle and like everything. That's a lot.

Steve:

It is a lot. Now all of this is because she feels that nothing matters. Do you agree?

Stephen:

No, because I always think above all love and kindness matter. Mm-hmm. like there are some things that we can say don't matter, but I truly believe that the way that we. those we care about always matters.

Steve:

Mm-hmm. I like the quote from Angel that if nothing matters, then all that matters is what we do. Which is kind

Stephen:

of like what

Steve:

I'm saying. Yeah. Yeah. Because sure. Truly in the grand philosophical realm of the world, nothing matters. Like to other people, it's our relative. Mm-hmm. But that because of that, all that matters is the things that we do,

Stephen:

because it could be us treating somebody or you. We give somebody a dollar and they're able to take the bus and that person was actually taking the bus to get a job. And at the job this person meets someone and they have a child, and that child ends up growing up to cure cancer. Us giving them a dollar really didn't matter, but in the grand scheme of things, Wow.

Steve:

I should give out more dollars.

Stephen:

We don't carry

Steve:

cash. That's true. I guess cancer can stick around a little bit

Stephen:

longer. Ew. No, no, no, no, no, no. That we just,

Steve:

no All right. Now alpha go Gong arrives before Evelyn is sucked into the black hole, but he wants to kill Evelyn to prevent her mind from further fracturing and becoming another Joe bta. Wayman and Joy return to themselves and are confused by their predicament, which Evelyn futile attempts to explain by recapping her version of rta Tui

Stephen:

called Raccoon And they think that is hysterical. She's like, you know, he had the raccoon on his head and he is pulling his hair, and they're like, do you mean rat Tui? And they think it's hysterical that she thought it was called raccooning.

Steve:

Yes. Now Alpha Gog Gong tries to get Evelyn to kill joy because sacrifices must be made to win the. But she refuses instead of option, become more like Joe Bus, so that she may be powerful enough to defeat her Alpha Go go, calls all the nearby verse jumpers to come kill Evelyn. But she's able to use the skills and memories from her multiverse selves to defeat them all, including the woman from the laundromat and her dog who use, she uses as a ball and chain. And some guys desperate to use the office spot plug. Yeah,

Stephen:

like his improbable. His improbable thing. Is to get the award up his butt and they're having this choreographed thing where he is pulling down his pants to try to sit on it. And it's kind of like that. You have to see the, yeah, from The Greatest Showman where they're moving the shot glasses around on the bar. Yeah. She's moving the butt plug around and then some other guy comes. and hurls his body through the air to land on it.

Steve:

it's funny, especially since there's no lubes. So that's a talent. Yeah.

Stephen:

And she did this amazing Captain America type stuff with one of the SWAT shields. Mm-hmm. And it confuses and impresses wayman and. Unfortunately Alpha Wayman is killed by Joe Bakke in the Alpha verse before he is able to kiss our Evelyn goodbye and right after Evelyn's mind fractures from the stress of splintering herself. and she dies.

Steve:

Yes. Now, would you kill someone you love to save? The entire universe? Depends on who it is. Well,

Stephen:

someone you love. I know. And it still

Steve:

depends on me. Mom, dad, me, definitely

Stephen:

not. You not feeling, not Remy. Definitely not mom and dad. Yeah. So

Steve:

I guess the people you truly love. No Yeah. Same thoughts on the fake the end. So yeah.

Stephen:

Right after Evelyn dies, the credits start to. and you know, it's a good fake because you're sitting there and you're like, well, that's not a satisfying ending. Nothing was resolved like this ends in a very bad way. and I swear that movie was too short.

Steve:

Yes. And since no one likes an unsatisfying ending, it continues

Stephen:

and we get part two

Steve:

everywhere. Yes. Evelyn's mind, spliners across the multiverse, and she witnesses many bizarre universes, including some we've seen, like the one where she spins signs for a living one. One where she has hotdogs for fingers and is dating Deirdre. And one where a fellow. Chef other Asian from Glee, Harry Shum Jr. Is controlled by Raco Cooney. Yes. What's your favorite multiverse?

Stephen:

So as I said, the hotdog fingers grosses me out, but I do love she and Deirdre being in a long-term committed relationship. But actually I would say it's the one where she's the movie. Because I like all the glamor of that. Yes. What about you? What one is, is your favorite of the multiverses? I, I

Steve:

think just, I love how ridiculous all of them are. But the one where raccoon, like Raccooning is real, I think is funny.

Stephen:

And raccoon can speak. Yes.

Steve:

Okay. I don't wanna live in the world with talking animals.

Stephen:

Yeah. I've never seen ratting. I don't know if the rat can speak in that movie. Yes.

Steve:

And is, do you know the rat's name? Tui? No. What Remi. Oh, I learned from playing Dream Light Valley. Okay, we'll have to add a tour, our to-do list sometime.

Stephen:

Yes. Now Joe Boo to Paki once again, finds Evelyn and explains that she is not trying to kill her. Instead, she created the everything bagel to destroy he. Because she's never she's tired of being never present in any one universe because she's everywhere all at once, and she merely wanted someone to accompany her into the unknown. Evelyn stares into the bagel and accept Joe Boo's, nihilistic view that nothing matters, and then she begins being cruel and uncaring in other univers. Including using her loved ones, hurting hotdog, finger deirdra, getting raccoon taken away by animal control signs the divorce papers in the party universe, disregarding her responsibilities and even stabbing wayman before finding herself in a universe where she and Joe Bakke are simply

Steve:

rocks. Yes, she nearly accepts Joe Buss offer to enter the bagel, but stops when she hears. Wayman still fighting for her in every universe. Even when she hurts him, he defends and cleans up after. he explains that his optimism is not naivete, but rather a conscious choice to be kind. Since that this is how he fights in the IRS fight world, Waymon urges them to all stop fighting and choose kindness. Please be kind, especially when you don't know what's going on.

Stephen:

Now do you think that, you know, just like they, Evelyn and Wayman seem to find each. that we would find each other across the multiverses. Of course.

Steve:

I like to think that's kind of like the multiverse version of soulmates where our paths are always bound across, except in the ones where I'm straightened with hotdog fingers.

Stephen:

Yeah. Let's just skip the hotdog fingers universe. But I also agree.

Steve:

Imagine being gay in the hotdog universe and the fun you could have, and

Stephen:

then cleaning up all the ketchup and mustard.

Steve:

Mm. Ketchup, crawl. Yes. Oh. I'm sorry. Now Evelyn re resolve resolves to fight more like him and David's jo bus's mi minions by sifting through the multiverse, discovering what is causing them anguished and helping them find happiness, including reminding Deirdre that she is lovable even in a world with hotdogs, for fingers dominating a sub, and writing other Asian like raccoon to save rac. In the IRS text universe, Evelyn Confronts Go Gang about his lifelong disappointment in her. And finally stands up to herself. Enjoy introducing Becky as her girlfriend. Now some of these are very easy. Some guys like back was out of alignment, so she does like chiropractors while other ones it's hearing the right words. What kind of special act could cure you from being an evil minion? Undermine controlled by Joe Bakke.

Stephen:

Oh my goodness. I, I mean, maybe it's morning kisses from you and Remy or a really good thing of mac and cheese I'm not sure what like that. I don't know. That's really hard. What do you know off the top of your head, what would cure you?

Steve:

I don't know. I related to the one where like I've, I always have like a little bit of neck pain. So if she did something somewhere where magically I had nowhere neck pain ever, I'd be just like, ha,

Stephen:

I could see her handing me a magical bowl of mac and cheese and me turning from evil to kind. There you go.

Steve:

Finally, Evelyn reaches Jo bu in attempts to pull her back from across the brink, defending herself in a battle with joy across the multiverses, but never attacking Jo bu back. Ultimately, she begins to get sucked in, but the family comes behind her to help pull her out. Joy cries out asking Evelyn to just let her go. Evelyn does so for a moment before pulling her back and telling her she will always choose to be with her regardless of everywhere else she could be. Well, OU initially rejects Evelyn. She reaches back from inside the bagel and returns to embrace her.

Stephen:
